With Manoj Bajpayee and Siddharth Malhotra film averting the coming week, the Akshay Kumar starrer movie Pad Man has got a solo release. The film was supposed to hit during the 26th January eve, however, considering the request of the request of Sanjay Leela Bhanasli it was averted for two weeks. So, with lots of anticipation for the Akki’s fan the film finally released this Friday. It enjoys a decent buzz in the media. Hence it has given an equal amount of chances to get a good collection on the first weekend as we could see it in the first day.
Now talking about the way the film has performed over the box office, it has got a decent collection on the first day. The film has managed to get 2000 screens and has thus got a good amount of share in the market. Well, as per reports, the 1st day box office collection for PadMan reached to around 8 crores, which is a good collection for sure. As per reports, the film had a decent occupancy since it started in the morning, however, when it reached in the evening the collection tolled to around 100 occupancy that ended up giving a decent collection.
As per the trade pundits and Akshay has been a decent grosser over the box office. However, the film did face the heat from the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie which is still running in the screens. This will continue to collect the film. The film therefore is expected to get some impact over its collection by the end of the first weekend, yet it will manage to get a decent collection. One can expect 30 crore plus collection with this film for sure. So, let’s check how things would move but for now on the first day the film seems to be a decent grosser.
