Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar on Monday completely expressed that he won’t enter governmental issues either “specifically or in a roundabout way” and spoke to his fans not to connect him with legislative issues in any way.

In an announcement issued in Chennai, Ajith Kumar said that he has no enthusiasm for entering governmental issues at all. The announcement comes against the background of cases that a portion of his fans had joined the BJP on Sunday.

“My support in governmental issues is limited to remaining in line amid decisions to cast a ballot. I will never request that my fans bolster a specific political gathering or urge them to vote in favor of a specific political gathering. I won’t do as such in future also,” he said.

Urging his fans to practice their political affiliations in their individual limit, he underlined, “I have my own preferences with regards to legislative issues. I have neither forced my political perspectives on anybody nor have I enabled anybody to force theirs on mine. I have never preferred my photos or name to be related with any political occasion.”

The on-screen character brought up that he has been mindful so as not to put forth political expressions either specifically or in his movies.

“I have decided that being an on-screen character in the film business is my calling. I disbanded my fan clubs a couple of years back just for this. I have been extremely mindful so as not to permit political alliance on myself or my fan clubs. Indeed, even after I took this choice, there have been sure reports partner me or my fan clubs with political occasions,” he said. “With races around the bend, such reports may make open feel that I harbor political desire,” he brought up.

He further prompted his fans to focus on their studies and profession.

“The only thing I expect is for students to concentrate on their studies or those have their own business or a job to do their duty properly, be a law-abiding citizen, take care of health, forget differences and promote unity and be respectful towards others,” he said

Responding to the ‘social media wars’ after the release of his film ‘Viswasam’ alongside on-screen character Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’, Ajith Kumar stated, “I have never acknowledged deprecatory remarks made against specific performing artists or pundits via web-based networking media. The world that is watching everything won’t absolve such activities.”
