Nawazuddin Siddiqui looks sinister in ‘Monsoon Shootout’ poster

The film ‘Kahaani’ garnered him a lot of praise and he shot to fame with his excellent acting in this flick. His upcoming film ‘Monsoon Shootout’ will finally see the daylight after a gap of four years. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen portraying a negative role in the noir thriller ‘Monsoon Shootout’. The makers released a new poster of the film. The actor sports a nasty look with a buzz cut, stubble and some scars on the forehead in the new poster of ‘Monsoon Shootout’. Vijay Sharma also features in this poster in his role of a cop. This poser reminds us of the film ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’. Nawazuddin essays a cold-hearted killer in ‘Monsoon Shootout’.

Produced by Guneet Monga, Arun Rangachari, Anurag Kashyap and Vivek Rangachari, the movie ‘Monsoon Shootout’ is helmed by debut director Amit Kumar. ‘Monsoon Shootout’ also stars the National Award winning actress Geetanjali Thapa, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sreejita De and Neeraj Kabi in key roles. The 2013 Cannes Film Festival saw screening of this flick and Amit Kumar earned nomination for it under Golden Camera category. ‘Monsoon Shootout’ has a trickery plot and will have unexpected twists. It’s a thriller on the tough streets of Mumbai and a broody downbeat drama.

‘Monsoon Shootout’ hits the screens on December 15 and locks horns with the laughter ride ‘Fukrey Returns’ directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The crime-thriller ‘Monsoon Shootout’ is touted to be a cunningly intricate first Indian movie and a ferocious cops-and-gangster drama based in Mumbai. With intense first look poster and reports about its storyline, the film seemed to be a treat of power-packed character performances paired with a gripping storyline.

Presented by Moving Pictures, the film ‘Monsoon Shootout’ is all set to give a great cinema experience to the viewers.
