Ramdoss is known initially as Munishkanth Ramdoss who happens to be an Indian film actor mostly seen in South Indian language (Tamil films). He was born on 30th June 1978 in Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu. He was brought up in the said place and had his schooling and college from there. Since he wanted to enter into the world of acting, he headed to Chennai in 2002 to try his luck in films. He had to work as a junior artist for a couple of years before he got his first break as a lead role. However, he was dejected for not getting the central roles that led him to relocate to Malaysia. He worked there for around two years as a goldsmith and then returned to Chennai to start his struggle again.
He has to sleep in Vadapalani temple for being homeless. Soon he started working with short films and dealt with characters related to Naalaya Iyakkunar. His short films were aired on Kalaignar TV. Soon his work was rrecognized and his short film called Mundasupatti was awarded. It was dubbed by an aspiring actor, and others. He continued working with smaller roles including in films by Mani Ratnam called Kadal in 2013 and Soodhu Kavvum the same year made by C. V. Kumar. Similarly, he did Pizza 2: Villa the same year before he got something big. In 2014, he got the chance to play the lead role in the film Mundasupatti.
The film was a big hit and was accepted both by the critics and audience getting big success at the box office. Both the audience and the critics highly appreciated his character. Some of his recent movies include Mo, Maanagaram, Bruce Lee, Bongu, Maragadha Naanayam, Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2, Velaikkaran, Gulaebaghavali, Kalakalappu 2, Seyal, Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Ratsasan, Sandakozhi 2, Kalavani Mappillai, and Kanaa. His upcoming movie is Petta which is in the post-production phase. Currently, he is filming for Asura Guru. Talking about his personal life, he is married to his old time friend Thenmozhi.
