Mrudula Murali Mangalasseri popularly known as Mrudula Murali, is an Indian actress, anchor, model and classical dancer. She hails from Eranakulam, Kerala wherein she was born on 8th June 1990 and brought up in this place only. Her father works with FACT Kalamassery and her mother is a housewife. She has done her schooling from Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Ernakulam, while completed her bachelor’s degree from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. She is currently going for  her masters program in Media studies at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. Her has one  brother called Mithun Murali who is also an actor.

Now talking about her career, she started her career in acting as a child anchor in the show called Dial and See Telecast in the Jeevan TV along with her brother Midhun Murali who also works as co-anchor. She was seen acting in a number of ad films in Malayalam and Tamil films and was also shot for the Tamil movie called Ilaiyaraaja musical Kangalum Kavipaduthey in 2007,wherein she failed to get its theatrical release. She has entered into this film industry with regional cinema called the Malayalam film -Red Chillies. The film has given her critical acclaim for her character called Shenbagavalli and her debut Tamil film as well known as Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA.

However, in the year she did not had any theatrical releases in the year 2014 but was seen getting appeared in a short film known as Maniyara. Now she is gearing up for her upcoming Tamil film called Chikkikku Chikkikichu, which happens to be a romantic comedy based on a train journey. She has even signed as the female leads in the Malayalam films known as Enthoru Bhagyam, wherein she will be playing the character of Heera Samson, a modern girl from Bangalore, who happens to be bubbly girl.
