Mitali Nag is a TV actress who hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra. She was born in Nagpur on 18th March 1984. She did her schooling from Tata Parsi, while she completed her college from Hislop College, Nagpur. Later she completed her MBA in Marketing from Nagpur University. She always remained active in sports and cultural activities and wanted to be an actor from her school days. Once she completed her graduation in commerce, she headed to Mumbai to start her career in acting. She learned dancing and singing while she was in school. She performed on stage both for dancing and singing. She was also involved in theatres that helped her brush up her acting skills. She continued with the theatres in Mumbai as well doing several plays.

She started her career in 2011 with the film Afsar Batiya playing the role called Krishna Raj and it was aired on Zee TV. In 2013, she got a couple of TV shows including Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat which was aired on Sony TV. She played the character called Prerna. She then participated in the reality show called Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein. She then got another show Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki. She then got a cameo role in the show called Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 playing the character Advay’s mother aired at StarPlus. She is currently doing the TV show Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop aired in Colors TV. She is playing the role of Kamla Shamsher Singh Vaghela (nee Kamlesh Kumari).

She was nominated in a couple of award functions like Indian Telly Awards and Zee Rishtey Awards for the Best Fresh New Face (Female), Favorite Behen and Favorite Beti for the TV show Afsar Bitiya. However, she was not lucky to bag the award. Talking about her personal life, she was married to Sankalp Pardeshi in 2014. The couple has a son called Rudrakash. She is also linked with several theatre groups including Ipta and Big Bang Theatre. She is also a businesswoman and owns a company called Sculpt By Mitali Nag. It deals with 3D crafts related to babies.
