Review

The film KGF by Prashanth Neel having Yash in the lead role has turned out to be the among the most spoken film in South India. So, it is obvious to see high expectations from the film. So, will the film deliver, well yes it has? As you start watching the film, it happens to have a fast-paced first half, but the second half is more interesting particularly the climax. One of the interesting aspects of the film is the screenplay, which boosts up the entertainment value. The non-linear pattern in the film helps in engaging the audience. The film showcases the evolution of Rocky played by Yash is shown in a steady manner.

At the same time, you could notice a fair share of dialogues and sequences, which entertain the masses a lot. Well, you can hear loads of hoots and cheers from the audience in the single screens or multiplexes. The makers are able to present a smart storytelling pattern, which helps in keeping the pace synchronized with the narrative. One can find the film covering the events from 1951 to 2018 while keeping the film gripping with loads of curiosity elements as showcased by all the roles in the film. On top of it, the cinematography makes all the difference along with the art direction thus boosting up the entertainment of the film.

The makers also have kept some oomph factor as well by showcasing the glitzy and hot nightlife scenes in Bangalore. Now, talking about the performances, Yash as Rocky has done a decent job and has surpassed the expectations raised by him in a big way. He has entertained the audience in a way they wanted with loads of action and thrilling dialogues and screenplay. The ensemble star cast is one of the essential USPs of the film. We see the other actors too doing a great job. The other aspects like music, editing, screenplay and other elements too have worked well for the movie thus boosting up the entertainment value in a big way.

KGF the Last Word

The film is able to build up a strong narrative of Rocky and showcases his mission to achieve big in an interesting way. Since the film is the first half, it ends up making the audience excited to catch the next part. So, all said and done, the film is a decent watch.
