Superstar comedian and Bollywood actor Kapil Sharma is all set for the upcoming season of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Kapil is also gearing up for his movie ‘Firangi’, his production venture. He essays the role of a British stooge in this film. Other than this, Kapil Sharma has something special in store in the next year as he is all set to get married in 2018.
Kapil Sharma will tie the knot with his girlfriend Ginny Chatrath, whom he was dating from a long time. He was spotted visiting Sai Baba temple at Shirdi with Ginny. “It was the ‘Firangi’ director Rajeev Dhingra’s wife’s birthday on Monday. Rajeev is Kapil’s childhood friend. So the two couples decided to visit Shirdi together.” said a close source.
The source said that Kapil is going to get married in early 2018. “There is a lot of pressure from the two families. Ginny’s parents are keen that the couple make their relationship official. Kapil’s mother insists that he marry Ginny whom she’s become very fond of and is very close to. Ginny had promised to consider marriage only after Kapil cleaned himself out. Now that he’s off alcohol, detoxicated and in a much more relaxed frame of mind Kapil is all set to take the plunge.” revealed the source.
Kapil Sharma will be seen playing a soft-spoken, subtle character in the film ‘Firangi’. The film is set in Punjab and shows the period of independence movement and narrates the tale of a person named Manga is not bothered about British atrocities and has nothing to do with freedom struggle. It will have conversational humour rather than punchlines. It will show different side of Kapil’s persona as an actor. ‘Firangi’ also features Ishita Dutta, Monica Gill and Edward Sonnenblick. It releases on November 24.
