Kangana Ranaut’s war scene in ‘Manikarnika’ caused headlines

‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ once again caused controversy, the film has been in headlines for a number of reasons since its inception. The film failed to break its relation with controversies. And now, a short video of Kangana Ranaut, who starred and directed the historical movie, has gone viral on social media.

 Kangana plays Rani Lakshmibai role in the film, which recently crossed 100 crores, and had to shoot a various fight scene. The latest reason for it to be in news is, however, a funny one. On Friday, a behind-the-scenes video of the actress riding a mechanical horse during shooting has gone viral on social media. The video tickled the funny bones of netizens who could not resist commenting on social media platforms. Soon, hilarious memes followed mocking the scene.

Video shows the actress dressed in full costume, riding a dummy horse, as she goes into battle. In a video, a crew member is seen holding an umbrella with a motive to protect her from the sun rays. While the extras in the seen are seen galloping on horses as someone yells ‘Roll, British, Force’, Kangana is seen shouting and using her sword while riding a mechanical horse.

A few seconds later she stops, after which the crew member rushed with the umbrella to shield her from the sun.

 

 

 

 

 

The film captures the life story of Rani Laxmibai. Directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut, the film also stars Danny Denzongpa, Zeeshan Ayyub, Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles.

Produced by Zee Studios, in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti, the film released on 25 January.
