One of the movies releasing today is Ishqedarriyaan starring all the new actors, which include Evelyn Sharma, Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Mohit Dutta, Kavin Dave and Suhasini Mulay. The film is directed by V. K. Prakash, who is again a new man in this job. Hence, the film fails to have any buzz in the media with no promotion or star value in it. With a couple of delays, the film was able to finally hit the theaters today, but with limited number of screens, the film is likely to do better over the box office.
 As per reports, there is hardly word of mouth buzz for the film. The occupancy reports seems very much poor for the movie, which tolls to around 10 to 15 percent. Right from the morning to the evening shows, the occupancy remained consistently low, which gives a very low figure over the box office. The first day box office collection for Ishqedarriyaan tolls around 30 Lakhs. One cannot expect much from movies like these to make over the box office.
 It has some big movies to compete, which makes things bad to worse for Ishqedarriyaan. These include the Kangana-Madhavan starrer film Tanu Weds Manu Returns that is all set to enter in the 100 crore club of 2015, while others include Welcome 2 Karachi a comedy and let’s not forget Piku, which is still in many screens remaining a big hurdle for such movies like Ishqedarriyaan.
