The recently released film of SRK – Zero did not perform well. Zero was the film to revive SRK’s lost glory in B Town. However, somewhere down the line, we hear about Don 3 is taking place now for King Khan. Some reports confirmed that SRK is all set to do the third part of Farhan AKhtar’s film Don Series. However, Shah Rukh Khan will be considering the gangster film only after he finishes with the biopic made on the Indian astronaut titled Saare Jahaan Se Accha. In a sense, one can say that King Khan is struggling at the box office and his last hit film in B Town was Chennai Express released in Eid 2013.
The film did a whopping business of 227 Crores and then came Happy New Year in 2014 Diwali which just crossed 200 Crores at the box office. Since then all his films underperformed at the box office, which includes Dilwale, Fan, Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal. Now, Zero is all set to do the damage as it is getting tough competition from the South Indian film called KGF. So, SRK is now gearing up for his next ventures which include the Biopic and then the third part of the popular franchise called Don. The first part of the film was released in 2007, then the next part came in 2013 and now in a year or two, we have Don 3 releasing.
As per reports, King Khan has given his consent for the third part. The same reports also claim that Farhan Akhtar with his team is currently engaged on his script for the third part since past few months. They have locked the script, which according to them would be the best in this series. Farhan informed that the film has a very different storyline and not the continuation of the second part as seen earlier. Well, there is still confusion as to which of these films (Don 3 or Saare Jahaan Se Accha) would release first. Comparing the two, the biopic would have good content, and it would easily get connected with the audience when compared to the gangster’s story. So, what do you think about it?
