Every 2nd October, we celebrate the birthday of our father of nation called Gandhi Ji. We celebrate as Gandhi Jaynti and even UN has declared the day as world non-violence day. As the world greets and remembers Gandhi this day, we also hear people from B Town talking about the same. Some B Town stars even were seen tweeting out this Big Day and sharing their wisdom of words with the world. Anupam Kher: He said Pujniya Bapuji. Janm tithi par aapko pranam aur shat shat naman (wish you on this big day)! He then continued saying Dear Bapuji though you may trend on the microblogging site called Twitter only today or on your death anniversary on January 30th, but you start trending in every Indian’s heart since 1947. He then said we may have some small issues but things are well in our country.

Manoj Bajpayee: The actor said, he likes to pay his tributes to Gandhi ji on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti and he has his good wishes to all Indians.

Varun Dhawan:  The Judwa 2 actor said in his own way the man who stitched India’s spirit with threads of self-reliance and we salute him for being the Father of our Nation.

Anushka Sharma: The Sui Dhaga then said we salute the teachings of this man who’s truly Made in India.

Swara Bhasker: The Tanu weds Manu actress said though Mahatma Gandhi is no more with us but he is more relevant for the country India than ever before! Gandhi Jayanti.

Nandita Das: The popular filmmaker said remembering Gandhi is to remember the importance of truth and non-violence. She then said hope this holiday will ask people to catch her film Manto who too believed in the same values.
