Gulfam Khan is a popular Film and TV actress from India, who hails from Mumbai where she was born and brought up at. She comes from a Pathan family who shifted to Bombay from the Taran Taran District of Punjab way back during the colonial rule of British. She did her schooling from the school called Silver Beach High School based in Juhu and later went to Tolani College of Commerce in Mumbai to do her graduation. Her father and grandfather belonged to a family of land development business who shifted way back in 1920’s. Her father still runs the same business, while her mom is a housewife. She has four siblings, while Gulfam Khan is also known as a Tech Junkie who is also fond of doing paintings.

She was very much introvert and shy by nature, however, in high school she started participating in extracurricular activities, which continued in her college days as well. Since childhood only, she was a great fan of the playback singer Mohd Rafi and has grown up with his songs having a very deep impression on her life. This gave a launch pad to make her entry into B Town for acting world. She also acted in a number of stage, directed a couple of plays, which helped her enter into this industry. After trying hard to enter the movie industry, she failed to get any role in movies, which made her enter the smaller screen getting a role in a TV series called Lipstick playing the character of Guddi way back in 2003.

She worked with a number of big banners in the smaller screen. She did a number of TV shows and serials including Sindoor, Astitva, Remix, India Calling, Diya Aur Bati Hum, etc to a name a few. However, her debut in films started with the movie called Ek Haseena Thi in the year 2004, followed a couple of other movies like Gayab, Mod, Talaash, Kya Super Cool Hai Hum and Laxmi. Currently she is doing a film called The Legend of Michael Mishra. Apart from films and TV serials, she also appears in a number of commercial ads, which include brands like Surf Excel in the Main (Lead) Model, Onida A.C. again the Main (Lead) Model, while others include Ayush Shampoo, Laxmi Ginger Garlic, Laxmi Aatta, Munch Chocolate, Parle G and Rudraksh. She also likes to write, though has not written anything professionally.
