Atkinson was born in Bury in UK. She went at GCSE at Castlebrook High School, before she entered in photographic model and commercial photographer. Talking about her personal life, she was seen making headlines for being in relationship with rugby player Olly Foster. She will be soon seen making her debut in Bollywood in the upcoming thriller called Fever.
She rose into stardom with the character called Lisa Hunter played on the Channel 4 based soap opera called Hollyoaks.
