First week box office collection of Padmaavat

As the Sanjay Leela Bhansali completed its first week of its release, its big time celebration for the makers. The film has gone smooth over the box office ever since it released in the screens. Despite the fierce hate campaign being carried out by the fringe groups like the Karni Sena, the film simply went unstoppable over the box office and now as we see the film completing the first week, we have some of the best figure for the makers to celebrate along with the lead stars of the film. The fierce agitation by the fringe groups proved as a blessing in disguise for the makers in a big way.

From the very first day the collection for Padmavaat has been high that came to around 19 crore over the box office, while on the second day it crossed 30 plus crore and similar were the figures in the next two days making the film to reach with its collection of 114 crore in its first weekend box office collection. And in the next few days during the weekdays, the film had good figures with around 15 crore on an average for the next three days giving a very good figure over the box office. Hence in this way, the film has proved its worth and has made the dark age at the box office to come to an end.

As per reports, the first week box office collection for Padmavat netted to around 165 crores over the box office and the show would keep on going for sure till the other film PadMan that would release on 9th of February. Yet it will pose as a competition to PadMan and the other film Aiyaary. Interestingly many of the screens in the states like Gujarat, Haryana and Rajasthan are yet to release the film and with limited states screening the movie, the film managed to get a good collection at the end of the first week.
