Chetan Bhagat has now become B Town’s favourite boy. Come any novel of his, and you have some or the other filmmaker seems to embark to make movies based on this. All his previous novels including One Night at Call Centre (Hello), The Five Point Someone (3 Idiots), Three Mistakes Of My Life (Kai Po Che) and 2 States all turned a good movie script for different producers. The moment his recent novel – Half Girlfriend hit the market, the director Mohit Suri was the first one to announce a movie based on it. It will be produced by Balaji Production house owned by Ekta Kapoor, while will be directed by Mohit Suri.
According to the production team, the movie would hit the theatres in 2016 summers, while its first look poster have been unveiled by its team. The story deals with a Bihari Boy who falls in love with an upper class girl and has problems with this relationship, hence the duo embarks with a new term Half Girlfriend.
