Ex flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were super comfortable with each other at Karan Johar’s birthday bash!
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were one of the most loved couples in the country while they were dating. Though the duo never made their relationship public, they never denied it either. Reportedly, Ranbir and Katrina started dating during the filming of ‘Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani’. And they dated for a good 6 years after that, leaving everyone happy and asking for more. Rumours of their separation started doing the rounds last year. And though the couple has never officially confirmed the split, it will be safe to say that they are no longer together. Apparently, Ranbir moved out of Katrina’s house post the break up and went on to live with his parents. And if reports are to be believed, the duo avoid each other at all public gatherings.
However, the scenario was a little different at Karan Johar’s birthday party. The filmmaker recently turned 45 and threw a lavish party at his Bandra residence. The party was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, and it goes without saying that Ranbir and Kat both were there. And while the other guests thought they would be awkward, they seemed to be super comfortable with each other.
According to a source present at the party, “Katrina Kaif joined Ranbir Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Anushka Sharma and they all sat together and chatted the night away. Surprisingly, both Ranbir and Katrina looked very comfortable together and surprised the people around them. In fact, there were many other actresses with whom RK shares a great equation. But he kept his interaction with them minimal and was instead sitting and conversing with Katrina, Anushka and Aditya.”
The source also added, “However, despite all the comfort, the two ex-lovers refrained from coming together in a photo. When Karan was going around taking selfies with everyone, Ranbir and Katrina dodged from coming in the same frame at the same time.”
The couple is currently busy with the shoot for Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which is in its last leg and this will probably be the last time we will see them together on screen.
