Engin Akyurek is a popular Turkish actor who works in films and TV shows. He was born on 12th October 1981 in Ankara, Turkey. He was born in a government official father, while he had no background of films. He did his graduation from Ankara University in the year 2002 wherein he did his studies in History. In the year 2004, he was seen taking part in an acting competition called “Turkiye’nin Yildizlari” aired at Turkey’s Star wherein he secured the first position giving away the supporting role in a TV serial called Yabanchi Damat, which was produced by Taylan and Durul Taylan. He got rave reviews for his performance giving him a couple of awards for the same.
This gave him his first movie called Kader in 2006 a film by Zeki Demirkubuz. He soon got another film called Engin Akyurek wherein he got the chance to play Cevat, which led him the most promising actor for both the prestigious awards including Turkish Cinema Awards and the CASOD Awards in the year 2006. Since then it was no looking back. Some of his TV serials include Bir Bulut Olsam, Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne, Kara Para Aşk and Karayilan. And talking about the films he got two films one was Kader in 2006 and the other is bi küçük eylül meselesi in the year 2014.
He also got the chance to do theatre, which include the play called Romantika Muzikali. Talking about the awrds, he got the chance to win an award for his debut film Kader apart from getting for the TV serials like Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne? And Kara Para Aşk. As far as his personal life is concerned, he is still single and yet to marry anyone. Talking about his recent buzz, his TV serial called Fatmagul in Urdu is being aired at the Zindagi channel.
Engin Akyurek has been nominated for International Emmy award and won seoul international superstar award and also awarded by film and entertainment academy of turkey to represent in hollywood.

Watching engin akyurek in fatmagul serial on zindagi channel. I have become a huge fan of his acting ,talent and looks. We are unable to watch the serial on net because its not available with english subtitles in India. Watching this handsome actor makes me wish I was younger.
