Dishani Chakraborty is the daughter of Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty. She was adopted and brought up by Mithun and wife Yogeeta Bali. Dishani mostly grew up in Mithun’s native place Kolkata and in Mumbai. She is the only sister to Mithun’s two biological sons Ushmey Chakraborty and Mahaakshay Chakraborty.
