Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman applauds Uri: The Surgical Strike!

The film Uri: The Surgical Strike seems to be going good on the box office. Thanks to the performance of the lead actor and the way the real incident was transformed in such an interesting way over the silver screen. In fact, the film gloried the achievement of the NDA government’s role in carrying out the surgical strike on the Pak army to avenge the death of 19 Indian soldiers. Then seeking a fictional army officer played by Vicky Kaushal, the makers were able to showcase the best of the film before the audience. It helped the audience to understand how things went behind the surgical strike.

The current Defense Minister -Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday was seen watching the film“Uri: The Surgical Strike” with Vicky Kaushal along with the real war veterans at a mall-based in Bangalore. The lady minister applauded the efforts of the makers along with appreciating the Brilliant performances of Vicky Kaushal army officer, Yami Gautam IB official, Paresh Rawal Def. Sec. and Mohit Raina. In a series of tweets, she expressed her experience as to how she was recharged with energy while watching the movie along with the veterans. She also shared a few videos of the hall.

The film is directed by Aditya Dhar, while it has a slew of actors like Vicky, Yami, Paresh and Mohit. The film as said is based on the surgical strike carried out in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir in September 2016. The minister also tweeted other videos with the caption of the movie stating “How’s the josh?”, to which the audience screamed in one voice -“High sir”. This will further help the film to prosper at the box office and will score high coming close to 200 Crores. Stay tuned to know more about this film and others only with us.
