Deepika Padukone joins the star cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma starrer
Aanand L Rai’s forthcoming venture will see Shah Rukh Khan playing a dwarf and the film also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead role. Katrina portrays an actress in it. Apart from this, some A-listers will appear in cameo role in this flick. Sridevi, Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Alia Bhatt are going to essay themselves in guest appearance in this film. The list is getting bigger as Deepika Padukone is the new addition into it. Interestingly, the makers of this film were supposed to cast Deepika in the lead role, but the things could not materialize and Katrina bagged the role. Salman Khan is also said to do special appearance in this film.
Talking about the cameo of other stars, a source revealed “Kajol and Rani filmed earlier in the day, while Alia, Sridevi and Karisma shot later. Most of them are wearing Manish Malhotra’s outfits and had a blast.” A source from SRK’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment stated “SRK recently shot with a few of his leading ladies for his upcoming movie with Aanand L Rai. It was a great experience for him to work with all the gorgeous women and share screen space with them all over again.”
King Khan spoke about this movie by saying “That movie is very exciting, very different. To me, it is technologically most superior movie ever been made in India. I don’t want to show-off, but it is one of its kinds and will start next month. I am very excited.”
The movie needs an extensive use of visual effects in order to make Shah Rukh’s dwarf look convincing. He will be seen rendering the role of a vertically challenged individual in this venture.
Other than this film, Katrina Kaif will next be seen in the spy thriller ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ opposite Salman Khan. Anushka Sharma will next feature in her home production titled ‘Pari’.
