Dangal may get a Sequel
Well, there may not be any official talks about the possibility of Dangal 2, but guess what there is something which give reasons to the makers to have a sequel. So for the Phoghat household, this can be new motivational strategy. As per the popular daily, the younger sister of Geeta and Babita, Ritu Phoghat who is herself a wrestler too, feels that whoever wins a Gold medal in the next Olympics could have a film.
Ritu Phogat who plays in the regular 48 Kg category is considered to be the next big stuff for the Indian women’s wrestling. On being asked about which actress she would love to play her character in the film, Ritu ended up saying Sonakshi Sinha’s name. She thinks the bubby girl of B Town has a good physique for a wrestler character.
Dangal that featured Aamir Khan and the newbie actors Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh has been termed as the biggest grocer films of 2016. The film dealt with the life of Mahavir Phoghat and his endless efforts to train his daughters Geeta and Babita to become world class wrestlers.
The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and we all know how this film took the box office by storm. Will there be a sequel on cards? Only time will tell, but as of now, the current buzz suggest that the Dangal 2 can have the content that can fit into the bubbly girl of B Town in it.
