Chef & Julie 2 First Week Box Office Collection

Chef And Julie 2

After one week both the films (Chef & Julie 2) released last week seemed to have ended with a flop story. Let’s talk one by one these films starting with the Saif Ali Khan starrer movie called Chef. As we know the film was an official adaptation of a Hollywood movie with the same title. The film enjoyed a decent buzz in the media along with have decent ratings by most of the critics, however, it failed to give the right buzz at the box office. The movie collected mere 0.85 crores on the first day, while in its first weekend, the collection was around 3.85 crores. It was nothing but a disaster at the box office as the film failed lift during the weekdays as well.

The trade experts called the film a big disaster at the box office for securing a very low collection at the box office. As per reports, the 1st week box office collection for Chef netted around 5.10 crore, which is really a low figure. Most of the critics have declared the film as flop and there are no signs of getting up. Though there is no major releases this week, yet Chef is likely to rise up and give a decent collection in the second weekend and week. On the other side, we can see Julie 2 with the same old story. The erotic thriller didn’t had much to share.

Unlike Chef, the film tread the path with the same vigor and spirit. As per reports, the first week collection for Julie 2 netted around 2.5 crores, which itself speak about itself. The darker age of Box Office has continued its impact over this film and gave the makers not much over the box office. In fact, its the menace of demonetization, which still have bitten the makers. And the entire year of 2017 has remained under the darkness of this menace. However, only a few movies like Judwaa 2 has managed to do better over the box office and it is still seen affecting the last week films released over the box office.
