Catch Sonchiriya trailer featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar in the unfair world of dacoity and politics

After releasing a few posters of their film Sonchiriya, the makers are back with the trailer. The film has actors like Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles along with Manoj Bajpayee in it. As you check the trailer, it appears out to be gritty, and it showcases a couple of characters struggling with issues like violence, caste issues and many more fake promises they make to have a better world. Abhishek Chaubey the Udta Punjab, and Ishqiya fame director has dealt with the direction of this film. He has taken up a horrifying tale this time related to dacoity in the area of Chambal during the 1975 Emergency.

The trailer shows open up with showcasing the dacoits, and these are played by the MS Dhoni actor Sushant Singh Rajput while others who soon join him include Ranvir Sheorey and Manoj Bajpayee. All of the three are hiding inside a house to run away from the police. The scenes therefore that come along showcases Sushant seen asking his men to surrender and people in his gang call him a coward. Then we see Bhumi coming in the trailer which has fled away from her home and now wants to be the part of the gang. However, they ask her to disclose her group then only they would count her in. Then we see Ashutosh Rana who is playing a tough and brutal cop who is given the charge to control the dacoits in Chambal.

The makers have released teaser last month on 7th December, which was seen opening up with a voice-over by Bajpayee, showcasing a village which is ruled by dacoits. We know the star cast in the bold and fierce avatars, and the film is named as Son Ki Chiriya the Golden Bird. The makers have shot the film mostly in MP and added a few fictitious characters in it. Talking about the movie, the makers informed that bandits had been the part of this place since long and they have their own culture and tradition, which have been shown in this film. The film Sonchiriya will be hitting the screens on 5th February 2019. If you are yet to catch the trailer, have a look at it as under:
