After PK, Tevar happens to be a big release starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha along with Manoj Bajpayee. Finally after 3 long weeks of PK dominance, the jinx for the Aamir Khan Starrer film seems to be breaking with Tevar. However, if you look at its opening day, the morning and even the afternoon shows seemed average, with occupancy reports tolling to the maximum of 35 percent. But as the day turned to dusk, the Boney and Sanjay Kapoor produced film picked up. The reports at places like New Delhi (NCR) and states like Rajasthan witnessed a good response for the film.
The others with average report include cities like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Also, the cities in the north too had similar trends. However, if you believe the trade pundits, the figure is likely to grow in the coming first weekend. Tevar is likely to attract the audience since this is the only next good change after PK. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Tevar tolled to around 7 Crores. And if it continues with greater pace, the film is likely to score good at the end of its first weekend by reaching the figure 27 crores.
