The B Town mega stars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have been invited at the Oscar Academy along with the other stars like Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya R Bachchan and filmmakers like Buddhadeb Dasgupa and Goutam Ghose have been and vote in the Oscars. As per the website of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the portal has the list of invitees coming from 57 different nations, which has 39 percent of women in it.
Besides the above B Town celebrities, we can also see actors like Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone along with designer Arjun Bhasin, the writer Sooni Taraporevala and documentary filmmaker Anand Patwardhan too are among the list of other invitees being called from India. The portal has invited them with a bold message on it while the complete motion picture community will be presided by the Academy President, Mr. Cheryl Boone Isaacs who welcomed them all over the website.
Besides the B Town celebrities the invitees from other countries include the Israeli actress and Wonder Woman star called Gal Gadot, the comedian Amy Poehler, Mr. Robot actor Rami Malek, Kristen Stewart, Rogue One actor Riz Ahmed, Chris Hemsworth and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Besides, one can also find the directors including Barry Jenkins, Kim Ki-Duk, Jordan Peele, Theodore Melfi, Emmanuelle Bercot, David Ayer, Fatih Akin, Patricia Cardoso, Derek Cianfrance, Garth Davis, Lav Diaz, Tom Ford, Anna Hui, Takashi Miike, and Guy Ritchie, have also been invited.
