Synopsis: The film Batti Gul Meter Chalu happens to be an upcoming Indian Hindi film, which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh while it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nishant Pitti and Krishan Kumar under the banner T-Series. The film has Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. The principal photography commenced in February 2018 and was seen getting wrapped up in July 2018. The film has an interesting cast, which include Shahid Kapoor as Ranvir Chopra, while Shraddha Kapoor is seen as Lalita “Nauti” Nautiyal and Yami Gautam as Pia who is the Lawyer in the film. The others include Divyendu Sharma, Anupam Kher, Samir Kochhar, and Nikitin Dheer.

Now talking about the film’s plot, it deals with the story of power failure and absence of the same in small towns and villages. So, basically it is a satire and happens to be a taunt on the subject on the petty politicians who claim that they have electrified the villages and towns, while the film talks about the reality. The film was supposed to be released earlier, however, it got delayed due some reason, while it will be released now in September. The film has been making headlines in the media. The movie was seen releasing on 31st August, while it was pushed in September as the makers wanted to avoid the clash with other film releasing the same day.
