So as we have seen on many previous occasions, Bollywood stars and the Indian government officials join hands to promote and work for social causes. Once again, such a venture is coming up. On the eve of Women’s Day which is March 8, the Indian government has asked the actresses Alia, Priyanka and the cricketer Virat Kohli to come together and promote good causes for the improvement of the underprivileged women in our societies. Not much information about the project has been revealed but all we know is that the three celebs will come together and interact at a social platform.
Alia has recently won the Film Fare award for best actress for her film Udta Punjab. She is reckoned among the youth force in Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, has become an epitome for woman power now. She is a force to reckon with. Her Hollywood outing has got her wide spread recognition and appreciation.
Virat Kohli will be sharing the stage with the two actresses. He is the leading Indian cricketer and his records and achievement speak for him. So that explains why we have the trio selected for such cause. We wish this campaign all the best and may they spread the message of women empowerment effectively.
