After Deepika, Shahid to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds

The popularity of B Town seems to be increasing with every passing day. Yesterday, we heard the Mastani of the Bollywood called Deepika Padukone was seen going on the social media  live to announce that she is getting her wax statue at Madame Tussauds located in London. Now, we have another star cast of her own film Padmaavat co-star Shahid Kapoor to announce the same. He as a Bollywood star has achieved a lot in his life that make him to get this important milestone in his life. The Mausam actor went on Instagram to announce about the news before the media and his fans as well. He was seen holding an eyeball that is given for a measurement of his eyes for the statute. He was seen giving the caption “Keep an eye out. Coming soon.”
Though he is still to give any hint about which Madame Tussauds he will be getting his wax statue. Well, looking at this, it can be called as a huge achievement for the actor, who was seen recently entering the Rs 300 crore club with the famous filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his magnum opus film Padmaavat. The character of Rajput warrior king Maharawal Ratan Singh was played by Shahid Kapoor that won accolades and praises for his good and extraordinary performances.
Now, talking about the work front of the actor, Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in the film called Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, who is the same man who previously helmed Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer movie called Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. It was a huge success at the box office. Now, he is coming up with the film Batti Gul Meter Chalu which happens to be a social satire. It will have Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the key roles. The film will be releasing on September 21 and is going  to clash with Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu starrer film called Manmarziyan at the same day at the box office. After the same film, he will start the shooting for the film  Arjun Reddy, which happens to be an official remake of a Telugu blockbuster having the same title.
