Aamir Khan had a bad Diwali this time as his film Thugs of Hindostan failed to perform at the box office. The film collected only 150 crores despite having a massive budget going beyond 350 crores. But for the actor, it was no looking back for him. His brand value remains the same, and he is now gearing up for the next film, which is a multimillion venture called Mahabharata. The film has been in the pipeline since long but now as things are working out the Zero actor Shah Rukh Khan who is also close now to Aamir Khan has confirmed about the film and Aamir’s role.

The makers also wanted to rope in Shah Rukh Khan, and he expressed his desire to get the role of Krishna in it. But the makers then informed that the said role is already been assigned to Aamir Khan. Talking about the film in his recent interview with the media, he informed about the same. Talking about the film and the role, he said that Aamir Khan wanted to do this role since he was asked to be the part of this venture. As per the reports, the film has been made with the whopping budget of around 1000 Crores and would be made in seven different web series parts.

The story of the film is jotted down by Anjum Rajabali who has also confirmed the same. He said that Aamir liked the script and he wanted to the role of Krishna. This has made Aamir to consume most of the portion of the film. Hopefully, with this project, Aamir will be able to get rid of the wrong time he had with his earlier movie Thugs of Hindostan despite having stars like him, Big B, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. We also saw Aamir posing apology for not able to entertain the audience. He said this in an award ceremony called the Storytellers Script Contest. He said most of the people did not understand the film and hence they had the reason for disliking it. However, he said he had worked hard for the film.
