5 Bollywood Movies that were copied by Hollywood

It may seem incredible but often called as true when we see even plots of our very own Bollywood films were seen getting copied by Hollywood. This may surprise you, but there are a number of Bollywood films, which seemed to have copied blatantly by a number of award winning Hollywood movies, how about catching up the list for the same:

1). Kill Bill ABhay – Aalavandhan

Kill Bill ABhay Aalavandhan 3Have you watched the film called Kill Bill, well the same film was copied by Kamal Haasan-starrer Telugu movie, Aalavandhan, which was made in Hindi called Abhay.

2). Divorce Invitation – Aahvaanam

We see S.V. Krishna Reddy venturing in Hollywood with the romantic film called Divorce Invitation, which was the remake of his own Telugu movie known as Aahvaanam. The film is all about a man who gets married to his sweetheart, but later falls in love with another girl and now wants a divorce from his wife. Interestingly, the marriage bond signed by the couple had a clause calling all the people who attended the marriage in a divorce ceremony to give the reason of separation.

3). Jab We Met – Leap Year

Jab We Met – Leap Year

The makers of the film Leap Year seemed to have claimed that it has nothing to do with the Imtiaz Ali film, Jab We Met. But, the story and scenes of LY seemed very much similar. Both the films revolved around the lives of a talkative girl who falls in love with a man whom she has taken help to run away from her place to marry her alleged boyfriend.

4). Just Go With It – Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?

Remember the story of the film of Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen and Katrina Kaif called Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, many would know that it has been completely copied off by director Dennis Duggan for his American rom-com movie, Just Go With.

5). Hitch- Choti Si Baat

Hitch Choti Si Baat

The Hollywood film Hitch was copied by the Hindi movie Choti Si Baat. The film interestingly was inspired another B Town film starring Salman Khan and Govinda called Partner.
